Thanks ^_^ The original picture looks like they used some kind of leather, but I went with black really tough jean type fabric. Was hard to sew, but made it strong. I've been wanting to make a traditional corset myself, with boning and such, but I'm not sure what to use that would be so strong you can tighten it to such crazy degrees as you're supposed to with a corset. From what I've read, a good strong plain cloth like cotton or linen is good, and a bit of poly thrown in probably wouldn't hurt. You basically want something that won't tear (even leather is fine) but the most important part is to make sure that your thread is equally as strong.

Hmm, yes...maybe I can find some cheap fake leather that's strong enough... Real leather is so expensive! -.-
